Certifying partner applications ensures successful integration This year, we launched a new program to certify partner applications with Scality RING and ARTESCA. The program aims to provide customers with a high-quality onboarding experience and equip our channel partners with information about our solutions. Customers can access documentation on integrating Scality RING or ARTESCA with their application and follow best practices for predictable performance. Additionally, the program empowers our sales and customer success teams with a streamlined sales process, improved solution positioning, and ongoing support and enablement for RING and ARTESCA. To achieve this mission, the program provides clear and actionable guidance for seamless installation, configuration processes and predictable performance with our application partners. Scality’s app certification program verifies that applications meet its compatibility, functionality, performance and strategic criteria so customers are confident that these apps can be successfully integrated. Categories of partner app certification Scality’s partner app certification program helps our customers ensure seamless integration. Validated Design Validated design is the highest level of certification for partner applications. These applications undergo comprehensive testing with Scality products to ensure predictable performance for the solution. Additionally, product enhancements may be implemented to deliver the desired performance. These applications are supported by the following: Integration documentation Supported architectures Performance data BOMs (Bill of materials) Performance tuning via procedures and recommendations Functional Certified Partner applications that have been “Functional Certified” undergo thorough testing with Scality products. These applications are tested with near-real-world use cases and data to ensure a predictable integration for the solution. These applications are supported by the following: Integration documentation Supported architectures Performance Certified Partner applications are tested with real-world workloads to ensure predictable performance for the solution. These applications are supported by the following: Integration documentation Supported architectures Performance data Compatible Partner applications identified as compatible have been analyzed to ensure they meet the API requirements and integrate successfully with Scality products. Documentation on integrating with the partner application is available for compatible applications. These applications are supported by the following: Integration documentation Unknown Partner applications that haven’t been tested with Scality products start with a default state of Unknown. Incompatible Partner applications with known incompatibilities include those with non-implemented APIs, API behavior that does not meet the S3 standard, or an incompatible architecture. Scality does not provide support for applications (or specific options of some applications) that have been identified as incompatible.
