55 Have you heard of EcoVadis? If you care about doing business with organizations that take corporate responsibility seriously, EcoVadis will tell you how they rank. Founded in 2007, EcoVadis has become the world’s largest provider of business rankings for sustainability. With a worldwide network of 100,000+ rated companies, its goal is to direct all businesses toward a sustainable future. Their rating scorecards are built on four pillars: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. They measure how well a company has integrated these pillars into its operations and management structure. EcoVadis’ methodology and assessment model Scality jumps to a Silver rating with the goal of reaching Gold! We are happy to report that Scality jumped to a Silver-level EcoVadis rating in 2023. We made gains in each of EcoVadis’ categories and now sit in the top 25% of all participants — this is up 25% from our ranking just two years ago. (See the full announcement here.) The Silver medal ranking takes into account everything Scality does as a business to build a more sustainable future. This includes efforts both large and small since even the smallest gestures add up to a huge impact over time.
