114 An occasion to run a race that raises awareness about organ donation and we did it as a team. What is the Course du Coeur? It’s a special relay race over 4 days and 4 nights where teams of 12 runners cover the distance between Paris and the French Alps. The enterprises entering the race make a donation to Trans’Forme, an NGO promoting physical activity to people who’ve received an organ transplant. One of the teams taking part to the race is made of only runners who have had organ transplants. The race is an occasion to show transplantation is not necessarily the end of an active life. Scality will be there carrying this message along 750km (470 miles), with an international team, as this issue, just like our social responsibility, knows no border. We will have a team made of Germans, Britons, Americans, and French, and we will raise awareness about organ donation in all these countries through Twitter, Instagram, and our Blog. On our blog, you will find different kinds of articles, including team members intro (both for runners and supporters), summaries of training activities, awareness-raising presentations about organ donations, and personal contributions from the team members revolving around transplantation. Today, we invite you to discover the first personal contribution by Laure, one of our runners who’s been transplanted recently. Thank you for supporting us in our social endeavours!
